Pins&Rivets

Pins are cylindrical fasteners inserted into aligned holes of assembled parts, mainly for positioning, hinging or bearing shear force. Most pins are removable and will not deform during installation.
Rivets are permanent fasteners. After being placed into pre-drilled holes, their tail end is plastically deformed to form a second head, clamping multiple workpieces tightly together. They cannot be disassembled without damage.
